With reference to my despatch No.292 of the

25th August, 1910, I have the honour to report that the existing code governing education grants in the Colony which was issued in 1910 is now somewhat out of date, and to request authority to adopt a new revised grant code a

copy of which is enclosed.

2.

The new code does not differ materially

from the previous one, the alterations though numerous are of an unimportant nature and do not involve any increase

of expenditure.
